MY GREATEST INSPIRATION
comes from early Roman
mosaics and my
contemporary inspiration
comes from Antoni Gaudi.
Besides the greatest,
nature is my endless
source of inspiration.

MATERIALS & TECHNIQUES
MY FAVOURITE MATERIALS
are unglazed ceramic tiles and
preferred technique is 'opus
vermiculatum' (from Latin
wormlike) where tesserae
follows the contours of images.
While at University of the Arts
London my approach to mosaic
art is constantly re-evaluated.

FINDING ONE'S OWN STYLE
is a very complex notion as so
many external factors play
part. With time ideas become
clearer but also more
complicated.
ELEMENTS LIKE locality,
availability, practicality,
and functionality become
decisive factors in
determining style direction.
